Pink fireworks. It's relentless, the attitude of male dominance that permeates everything in the United States. I think it has a lot to do with the way that the country was created; white men got here, subdued the indigenous people, brought over black people around whom they created the myth of inferiority so that they, the white men, could justify enslaving human beings while proclaiming themselves free of England's monarchy by dint of inalienable human rights, and exploited the blank slate of a "new" continent to erase what history there was from Europe of women's contributions to society.

Ben Affleck should not be President. I have already discussed my thoughts about celebrities and elected office, and those thoughts haven't changed.
I also don't think that it's acceptable for politicians to solicit celebrity money and name recognition for their campaigns.
