Celebrities and homeless men

August 3, 2015

Those seem to be my dating options at this time.

Homelessness is such a total experience, so demanding of time and energy, and so difficult, that it is also difficult to believe that it will end.  I think that a lot of homeless people feel that way.

It's also difficult to believe that my life will bring me into contact with enough educated, employed people who share my interests and value system that I'll be able to date the way that I have always wanted to date and mostly haven't. That prospect also seems to be far from the present; even a year or a couple of years can seem like a long time when you have waited for something for decades.

Also, being abused all the time does not tend to make a person feel capable of resisting instant gratification all the time.  The conglomerate likes to blame me for the cycle that it has created for me.

That's a picture of a hamster that I got from the Internet.

Most people would probably like to believe that they have beautiful, dynamic totem animals.  I am like most of humanity that way, but I also try not to deny important truths.
