I'm at the laundromat. The car whose license plate I just published was parked in front of the laundromat when I got to it.
A white man who might be in his early 60's just walked past me and coughed. I said "Don't do that again." He turned and walked toward me, saying, in a hostile way "Excuse me? What did I do?" He stood there waiting for me to answer him; he is certainly not the first man to harass me and then, when I object to his behavior, to loom over me demanding to know "what he did."
I said "You coughed at me when you walked past me."
He said, "I'm very sorry," and walked away. He didn't sound at all sorry.
