The mental health care system is bad; I talk about that all the time.
That doesn't mean that he isn't GUILTY.
That poor woman; those pictures of her bruised face when he was making her take money from ATMs, and what she must have suffered until her death. He did all of that to her minute by minute, seeing and hearing the effect of it while it was happening, and he had already attacked two women before he murdered her.
If someone wants to provide him with counseling while he spends the rest of his life in jail, I won't criticize that decision. Better late than never for some things, I suppose.
