Who knows how much of the Boston area is dominated by Italian mafia? I have thought about that a few times during the years that I have lived here. I have not noticed a direct influence on my life from the mob, and I have wondered why not, since my publications are against crime.
I have usually addressed that question by deciding to believe that they think I'm too funny to kill. I guess that means that I should try to keep them laughing. That shouldn't be a problem, heh, (nervous laughter) heh.
