That's a picture from this morning of part of the March 23, 2015 statement about the investigation, published by the Charlottesville Police Department at its website.
When I first read that statement, it occurred to me that the person who worked at the Aquatic and Fitness Center with Jackie might be a college graduate or a college drop-out, despite what he had told her about himself. I don't know why it didn't occur to me that he could be someone who was suspended from or had voluntarily left the University of Virginia for a while and then rematriculated a few years later after having taken time off.
Why would he have left school for a while, do you suppose?
The original Rolling Stone article about sexual assault at the University of Virginia described the way that serial offenders against women are not punished, that, at the most, they get temporarily suspended. Is that what happened with the man who brought Jackie to Phi Kappa Psi?
