Who has the responsibility for the "Kill the b----" blogs?

May 4, 2015

I spent part of today trying to get the first page of Google search results for my name cleared of things that look like this:

Most of the blogs created about me have parts of videos that I had filmed and published with copyright notices at YouTube blogs, and that other people have taken and spliced together in ways that are misleading and then republished so that they and people who see the postings can write comments calling me a crazy b---- who deserves to be heavily medicated, locked up, punched, raped and killed.

The copyright issue is much less important than the way that my material is being presented as the basis for people to publish their hatemongering online; they are inciting violence.

It was difficult to find contact information for the services who have allowed these publications to happen.  At least one of them seemed to be demanding that I create an account at that service before I contact anyone who is responsible for how the service is operated.

Almost all of the emails that I sent to the contact information that I did find were sent back to me as message failures.

Reddit, which did respond, took no responsibility for what got posted about me at its website.

This is the email conversation that I had with reddit today, with the most recent message first:

In addition to the threats to my safety posed by the blogs created by bullies, what landlord will rent to me, what employer will hire me, and who won't be terrified either of me or of the people who are abusing me, while I have search results like those and can't get rid of them?
