Stalked by a homeless woman at the Pine Street Inn

June 4, 2015

Last year, when I got to the Pine Street Inn after being evicted from Braintree Village, a tall, heavyset homeless woman began harassing me.

She started by deciding that she needed to close the curtains behind me whenever I was sitting in the back row of chairs in the lobby.  That gave her the chance of putting her crotch in my and other people's faces.

She really started to harass me after the day when she bought seafood salad somewhere, brought it to the shelter, and offered it to me and another woman near whom she was sitting.  I said no; so did the other woman.

Ever since then, she has harassed me with coughing.  She follows me to be able to do it.  I have told staff and nothing is being done to stop it.  She's not the only guest who harasses me, but she is one of the most persistent.  It happens almost every day.

When I tell her to leave me alone, she says "Take your medication."
