Corrective rape, which is an unfortunate term somewhat like "ethnic cleansing" in the tacit legitimacy that it lends to the behavior that it describes, is used against people who are perceived not to meet a cultural norm.
It's what the conglomerate has done to me in various ways since it first began to sexually harass me in 2010. I am female. I am poor. I have a psychiatric history. I am over 30. I am not "supposed" to criticize rich or otherwise powerful men or act as if their crude attempts to woo me aren't good enough.
It also happens to gay people a lot.
