Why didn't the women at Liberty University and Christopher Newport University press charges? Was it pressure by the police or the prevailing attitudes about rape victims in Virginia that made them decide not to try to endure the trials and publicity?
It seems to me that the Virginia establishment and the conglomerate media would rather focus on Rolling Stone than on the systemic failure of Virginia, and particularly Virginia universities, to stop serial, sexual violence against women.
