I did get a bed from the lottery last night. However, it was a bed that is next to the hallway that people walk through at night, and near the door to the locker room, and the door to the bathroom is visible and audible from that bed.
There are people going into and out of the locker room until late at night; working people who get to the shelter late are able to take showers when they get to the shelter, and the door to the locker room is also the door to the shower room. The locker room door is also opened by staff to everyone at 4:30 a.m., and it's kept open from then on in the morning, so there's light and noise coming from that room starting at 4:30 a.m.
I probably got 5 or 6 hours of sleep last night.
