I got to sleep soon after 11:00 p.m.
At 2:00 a.m., there was laughter from the office that was so loud that it woke me up. Then, I heard one of the other women who was in the lobby crying.
Another women said to her "Would you please go into the bathroom so that we don't have to hear you sniveling all night?"
I and another woman told her "Why are you talking to her that way," and she screamed at us. I went to get a staffperson, who finally responded to my knocking at the office door and then proceeded to scream at me and the woman who had also objected to the woman who had screamed at the woman who was crying. The woman who had initially yelled at the woman who was crying told me "You don't care because you do nothing all day. GET A JOB! GET A JOB! GET A JOB!"
I went to the staffperson, who continued to listen to nothing that I said. When I went back to where I was supposed to be sleeping, the woman who had screamed "GET A JOB" said "You couldn't get what you wanted, could you? When they throw you out of this place, I'm going to laugh my ass off!"
I don't know where she works; maybe at a hospice staffed by Neo-Nazis.
I probably fell asleep again around 3:00 a.m. When you sleep in the lobby, they get you up at 4:15 a.m.
I'm trying to sleep in a chair for another few hours. The television is on, loudly, and I'll have to try to sleep through that and all the hateful things that will be said about me by WCVB and advertisers. Homeless women will be coughing at me; one is doing it now, incessantly.
