The front page of today's Boston Globe

July 3, 2015

This is not my copy of the Boston Globe; it's On The Rise's.  Other people want to read it, and there is also only so much room in the building for people to do whatever it is that they have to do.  I can't get a picture of this newspaper that has no background.

You'd have to read the fine print to know that the story about the woman in the pink shirt is not about something that the Boston Globe thinks should be happening.

The story about the little girl is about the body of a child that was found in a garbage bag.

The conglomerate never stops ignoring the fact that I AM IMPOVERISHED!  It takes hours for me to find clothing and other things that nobody could possibly interpret as having code meaning and that I also have the money to buy.  Not infrequently, I can't find anything, even after looking through everything that's available in a discount department or used clothing store.  Usually, I get harassed every time that I am in a store, also, so I get to deal with that while moving one coat hanger at a time on every rack, looking for something to wear.

I do what I am able to do within the constricting framework that the conglomerate has created around my life.  That does not mean that it's all right for the conglomerate to create suggestive pictures, put a few horizontal stripes on them, and pretend not to be promoting the sexualization of children or other crimes.
