I'm sure that there are many people who are horrified that the government is promoting child molestation and torturing people who protest against child molestation. However, most people don't have the money to take their children out of public school and to homeschool them; they have to work. If they take their children out of school and don't homeschool them, their children will be truant, and that's illegal.
There are probably people who feel that the only thing that they can do to protect their children is to make it known that they will physically harm, even kill, anyone who molests their children.
