Those are pictures from today of the first part of the Twitter for American Express.
I had to get a credit card. In addition to all of the other things that make landlords not want to rent to me, I didn't have a credit history because I'd never had a credit card. I didn't have debt that I hadn't paid or other financial problems besides being poor, I just didn't have a credit reference.
Which credit card could I have gotten? VISA? Discover? Would either of those be less of a code problem than American Express? It didn't seem to me that they would.
