Some of the homeless guests of the shelter are able to earn money by doing things around the shelter.
I'm sure that I wouldn't be considered eligible for that program, since I was called crazy and forced to leave the Food Services Training Program at the Pine Street Inn after every supervisor and many of the program participants had sexually harassed me, and now that the director of the women's side of the Pine Street Inn has sent me her written denial of my being harassed and stalked by a male employee.
