Ignoring the evidence

April 22, 2015

I'm having problems with my phone lately and was not able to write past where I left the last page.

Part of Jackie's story is that, in retaliation for talking about what had happened to her, someone threw a glass bottle at her head that hit her.  Why wouldn't she be afraid for her life?  The Charlottesville police did a lot to try to discredit that part of her story, also, and probably to intimidate the witnesses to what happened;  the strenuous efforts of that police department to discredit everything Jackie said are described in the March 23, 2015 statement at their website.

That's a picture from today of part of the last section of the CNN Money article from April 6, 2015.

The police found "Drew," didn't they?  His work schedule and financial records failed to give him an alibi for September 28, 2012 and did much to corroborate Jackie's story.  If everything that he ever said to Jackie was a lie, and if everyone else in Corruptionville, Virginia is either willing to lie to protect rapists, is too scared to tell the truth, or just doesn't have enough power to get heard, that's not Jackie's fault, nor is it the fault of anyone else who gets raped at that university.
