"Yeah, we did it."

April 22, 2015

Is that what anyone thinks the people whom Rolling Stone is accused of not having done enough to contact for questioning before the article about rape at the University of Virginia was published would have said if they were questioned?

That is a picture from today of part of a CNN Money article from April 6, 2015, called "Three Fatal Failures In Rolling Stone's UVA Rape Story."  That article is one of the first Yahoo search results for today from a search of the term "rolling stone uva article."

That is a picture from today of part of the statement from March 23, 2015 that the Charlottesville Police Department published at its website about its investigation.  The title of the statement is "Charlottesville Police Department's Investigation into an Alleged Sexual Assault as depicted in Rolling Stone Magazine Article dated November 19, 2014."

Is it difficult to believe that Phi Kappa Psi, and many other fraternities, throw parties that are not official functions and that the members pay for them without taking money from the fraternities' official bank accounts?  Why wouldn't they do that, while the administrators at the national levels of those fraternities pretend not to know that that is how parties at which hazing and rape happen get thrown?
